Marissa Fasshauer
Roles: Office Assistant
I grew up here in Beach Lake, PA and graduated from Honesdale High School in 2008. I attended Kutztown University majoring in Library Science Education. I currently teach Family and Consumer Sciences at Wayne Highlands Middle School in Honesdale. FCS is a fancy way of saying Home EC!
Prior to getting involved at Beach Lake FM Church in 2015, I attended church with my family in Narrowsburg, NY. In 2015 I began volunteering with the youth ministry. I have been the Youth Ministry Director since the beginning of 2018. It is not an easy role, but I can see the Lord doing awesome things through our Youth!
I grew up in a Christian home, but really began to take ownership of my faith and grow deeper in my relationship with Jesus in college through the ministry of Disciple Makers. I can’t imagine living my life apart from Jesus; one of my greatest joys is sharing Him with youth and encouraging them in their relationships with Him.
Favorite Scripture Verse: 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 “Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”
