It's time for us to come back together!
The decision to reopen our church has not been made rashly or lightly. We have spent much time in prayer, discussion, research and patiently waiting on the Lord.
May 31st will be a day of much rejoicing as we come back together and worship our Lord and Savior as a church family for the first time in many weeks!
Even though we will be gathering on May 31st, we do not anticipate that this day will look as a normal Sunday would as we implement proper CDC physical distancing and sanitizing guidelines. This will be a touch-less service. While we will be practicing physical distance, we hope this will be a time of much needed social intimacy and worship.

What will reOpening Look Like?
As we gather, we wish to be mindful of guidelines and safe practices. Here are some of the precautions we will be taking during and prior to our soft reopening service on May 31st.
- Online Service- Sunday Morning worship services will continue to be live streamed on our YouTube channel for those who do not feel comfortable to gather in person.
- Reducing seating- Our chairs in the sanctuary will be rearranged in a way that provides physical distance. Families and households will be encouraged to sit together. Children will be in the service with their parents.
- Overflow seating- In the event that physically distant seating in the sanctuary is full, we will have an overflow area set up in the fellowship hall where the service can be watched on our overflow monitors.
- Touchless Service- As a safety precaution, certain elements of our service will look a little different.
- The Lord's Supper- We will have individually package communion elements available to be picked up prior to the service.
- Bulletin- The Bulletin will be available here on our website as well as available to be picked up prior to the service.
- Offering- There will be a designated place to deposit gifts and offerings, the offering plate will not be passed.
- Doors- All interior doors will remain propped open during the service. Greeters will be assigned to open and close exterior doors.
- Beverages- Water fountains and coffee will be unavailable at this time.
- Personal Safety Measures- We want to encourage everyone who attends our services to be mindful and considerate of others in this time of transition. Here are some suggestions of things you can do to help make our church a safe environment:
- Any person who has had any contact with known COVID-19 confirmed cases or who has flu symptoms or fever should stay home and self-quarantine.
- If possible, perform temperature checks at home prior to attending the service.
- High-risk individuals based on age or predisposed health conditions are encouraged to join us from home on our live stream service.
- Wearing face masks and/or gloves is encouraged.
- Hand sanitizer will be available throughout the building, please sanitize as you feel the need.
- Sanitizing spray will be available in each bathroom stall, please sanitize the stall after using in addition to properly washing your hands.
- We encourage everyone to practice safe physical distance and refrain from handshakes, hugs etc. But please show your love for one another in other ways!
- Families and households may sit together in the sanctuary. In addition, individuals who have been in contact with each other may sit near each other. Otherwise physical distancing should be practiced.
- Regarding small children where physical distancing would be difficult to maintain: we will not be having children's classes and children should always be with their parents throughout the service.
If you are not able to gather with us in person, you can still gather virtually! Click the button below to head to our YouTube channel to join our live stream service.
When will we go back to normal?
We wish to be mindful and adhere to CDC guidelines through out this reopening process. In order to do this, we are going to move forward with a phased approach. As we move through the phases we will be able to offer more to our church family. Below you will find a description of each of these phases. On May 31st we will move from Red Phase to Orange Phase.
"Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near."
