Below you'll find the Core Values of our church and why they are so important to our congregation:
Prayer- Is the starting point for all that we do.
(James 5:13-18; Philippians 4:6-7; Matthew 6:6-8)
Bible- Is the word of God, a lamp to our feet, and is used to equip us, so that we are not
just hearers but doers.
(John 1:1-5; Hebrews 4:12; Isaiah 55:11; Psalm 119:105; James 1:22; 2 Timothy 3:16-17)
Joy- The joy of Jesus is in us and is complete. A joyful heart that loves God is good medicine,
and is filled with the inexpressible and glorious joy.
(Proverbs 17:22; John 15; John 3:16;1Peter 1:8-9)
Relationships- We are called to love one another, encourage one another,
hold each other accountable, and to serve one another.
( 1 Thessalonians: 5:11; James 5:16; Philippians 2:1-18; Proverbs 1:17; Ephesians
4:29)
The Lost, The Lonely, The Hurting- We are sent to share the love of Jesus with a
broken world, by proclaiming freedom that is only available through the works of God.
We are all made in the image of God, and He is, through Jesus, reconciling the world to
Himself.
(Psalm 40:1-3; Psalm 139:13-14; 2Corinthians 5:19; Matthew 28:18-20; Genesis 1:27)
Unity- We desire to stand firm in One Spirit, with one mind
striving side by side for the faith of the gospel.
(Philippians 1:27; Psalm 133:1; 2 Corinthians 13:11; Galatians 3:28; Romans 12:4-5; 1Corinthians 12)
Community Outreach- We are not ashamed of the gospel and recognize that it is the
power of God for salvation to everyone who believes. The harvest is ripe, but the
laborers are few, so we will use our gifts to serve one another and spread the Good News.
(Romans 1:16; 1 Peter 4:10; Matthew 9:37-38)
