"Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you."

Note: We do not believe missions is a separate ministry of the church, but rather every ministry of our church does missions, which is the labor of multiplying worship locally and globally, specifically to lost people.
Here's what we're doing
The Win... to glorify Jesus Christ by intentionally seeking ways to love people unconditionally both locally and globally by humbly serving others and boldly sharing the Gospel.
Here's why we're doing it
We believe God is a global God, worthy of worship from every mouth and every language around the world. In order for each person to truly worship God, to be saved, and to enjoy God's presence for eternity, they must believe in the Gospel of Jesus Christ (Romans 10:14-15 ESV). In order to get that Gospel message out, God has commanded we use every means necessary apart from sin to preach and lead people to Jesus. God uses us (individuals in/and the local church) to reach all peoples. As a result of the transformation process Jesus invited His disciples into, they were to become "fishers of men" (Matt. 4:19 ESV). We believe each follower of Jesus is commanded to "go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation" (Mark 16:15 ESV), to "go therefore and make disciples of all [ethnic people groups]" (Matthew 28:19 ESV). The task is ours, and this thinking influences every ministry, small group, and platform we have.
Here's how you can be involved
Food for Friends is a missions project of BLFMC's Prayer & Care Ministries. We always have a limited supply of canned and boxed food--free to anyone that needs it. During the year we also collect various food items to be given away in Jesus' name.
